Meer verwacht dan gekregen
Okay, laat ik eerlijk zijn. Want daar is een review ook voor bedoeld. De trailers op de verschillende sites en de aandacht in de media hebben mij een vertekend beeld opgeleverd. Ja, het is een mooi spel. Ja, het verhaal is best goed gevonden Maar.... Als je bijvoorbeeld Call Of Duty (Modern Warfare 2 of Black Ops) gewend bent, valt de gameplay een beetje tegen. Je verwacht dat je omgeving kapot kan, dat je gebouwen in kan (om beter te kunnen snipen). Helaas... Dat kan niet. Daarbij ben je wellicht ook gewend om je character te customizen voordat je de game in stapt (neem Battlefield 2 als voorbeeld). Ook dat kan niet zoals je gewend bent. Ja, het kan. Maar je moet in je level een hoeveelheid aan XP halen om je special treats te unlocken. Toch, onder de streep.... Als je deze minor issues voor lief neemt is het zeker een vermakelijke game, met mooie graphics en een meer dan interessante single player. Ik zal deze game zeker nog wel vaker pakken, maar mijn voorkeur gaat toch echt uit naar COD MW2 of BF2 (en natuurlijk BF3 en MW3, zodra ze uit zijn). Al met al geen slechte game, maar door de hype eromheen had ik er meer van verwacht.
