De game begint waar deel 2 is gebleven op de jacht naar Zeus. De game zit vol met toffe combos en wrede kills. Heb je genoten van god of war 1, 2 of de psp games van god of war, dan moet je deze game in je collectie hebben als je een ps3 hebt. De leuke puzzeltjes zorgen voor wat afwisseling en het vinden van collectibles is een andere uitdaging voor je trophy collectie.
