Vermakelijke, vernieuwende shooter
Bulletstorm is geen standaardshooter. Waar de meesten elkaar lijken te willen imiteren, probeert bulletstorm iets totaal nieuws. Wapens upgraden doe je door punten te verzamelen met het maken van skillshots. Skillshots zijn diverse, soms bizarre manieren om je tegenstanders om te leggen. Spies ze op cactussen, gooi ze van grote hoogtes of blaas ze op door de omgeving te gebruiken. Deze punten kun je vervolgens weer inzetten om ammo of upgrades te kopen voor je wapens. Daarnaast kun je altijd ammo vinden tijdens het spelen. Deze game is over the top, wat de gameplay behoorlijk arcade maakt Na het spelen van de demo uit de Playstation Store had ik mijn twijfels, maar de volledige game is een stuk toffer dan het lijkt in de demo. Naast de singleplayer is er een online multiplayer waarin je met maximaal 3 anderen zoveel mogelijk punten probeert te scoren in diverse multiplayer levels. Vermakelijk en voor dit kleine prijsje zeker de moeite waard!
