Meeslepend verhaal
Na Fahrenheit en Heavy Rain een nieuw verhaal van David Cage. Deze strak geregisseerde ervaring sleept je mee met Jody Holmes en Aiden. Het verhaal moet je zelf ervaren. Laat me zeggen dat de manier waarop de hoofdstukken afwisselend spelen tussen de jonge en de oudere Jody er voor zorgen dat je begrijpt wat ze voelt en waarom. Dit is een zeer goede vondst om het spel strak te houden. Gametechnisch worden je vaardigheden niet extreem op de proef gesteld. Het spelen als Aiden voelt echter wel alsof je je eigen gevoel daarin kunt leggen. Het zelfde geldt voor de keuzes die zo nu en dan mag maken. Als je vindt dat een spel een ervaring mag zijn en niet alleen maar over reactie en twitch, dan moet je Beyond Two Souls echt een kans geven. Beter dan Heavy Rain wat mij betreft.
