Use the Hauppauge HD PVR to record high definition TV programs to your PC in high quality H.264. The HD PVR 1212 is the world's first HD video recorder to make real-time H.264 compressed recordings at resolutions up to 1080i, and audio is recorded in AAC format. Record component video from your cable TV and satellite set top box, there's also a built-in IR blaster which will automatically change TV channels for scheduled recordings.
Recording in AVCHD format, you can easily burn your videos to Blu-ray disc. The HD PVR can be used to record your gaming sessions on PC or console via the component video input, and you'll be able to post the video online or show friends. Up to two hours of HD video can be recorded at 5Mb/sec, and burnt onto a 4.7GB DVD-R or DVD-RW disc and play it back on Blu-ray player.
