The Griffin Beacon transforms your iPhone, iPod or iPad into an easy to use remote for all your home entertainment devices. No longer will you have to search for lost remotes or use 3 different remotes at any given time!
Home entertainment systems are conventionally controlled via remote controls with infrared signals. Control your TV or stereo via your iOS device's Bluetooth signal, the Beacon will act as a bridge so you'll have full control. The Beacon will pair with your iOS device via Bluetooth and makes full use of the free Dijit's Universal Remote App which is really easy to use. With a wireless setup, no dongles or network connection, the Griffin Beacon's stylish pebble design means it'll look good in any room.
Setup is quick and simple. The Dijit app gets its information from a library of constantly updated device codes that help to simplify setup for your TV, set-top box, sound system, media players and much more. There's also an integrated learning feature for devices that are yet to be included in Dijit's library. Bluetooth pairing couldn't be easier, only a few taps are required for you to change channels, input, volume and much more. - A.D.
