The Mask

Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey), is a genuinely nice man who works as a bank clerk in Edge City, he is regularly bullied by everyone around him and has no luck at all when it comes to romance but little does he know, his life is about to take a dramatic change.
After being denied entrance to a local night club, he comes in possession of a mysterious mask lying near a pile of garbage which at first he mistakes to be a man drowning, but according to a psychologist, the mask actually pictures Loki (the Norse night god of mischief).
When Stanley takes the mask home and puts it on, it wraps around his head and he soon becomes a romantic, wild, uncontrolled and unconventional super hero. The rubber faced mask possesses him to start doing all the wild things that he fears, which includes romancing Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz), who is the girlfriend of local gangster Dorian (Peter Greene). Unfortunately, Stanley has to deal with all the consequences of his actions when the mask does pop off.
The Mask is a frightening curse that causes severe damage but at the same time, it brings exuberant fun as well, this is Jim Carrey at his absolute brilliant best. (Trevor Pratt)
