Jurassic Park
Op een afgelegen eiland creëert een steenrijke projectontwikkelaar in het geheim levende dinosaurussen uit prehistorisch D.N.A. Deze dieren worden uitgezet in het Themapark aldaar. Voordat hij het park opent nodigt hij twee topexperts op het gebied van paleontologie, een vooraanstaand wiskundige en zijn twee kleinkinderen, uit om een indruk van het park te krijgen. Hun bezoek verloopt rustig totdat de prehistorische rovers uitbreken en op de menselijke bewoners van het eiland beginnen te jagen.

Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Het vervolg op Jurassic Park, de blockbuster uit 1993. Jeff Goldblum kruipt opnieuw in de rol van de onconventionele wiskundige Dr Ian Malcolm. Het is vier jaar geleden sinds de geheime ramp in John Hammond's Jurassic Park plaatsvond. Op InGen's tweede Costa Ricaanse eiland, Site B, worden dinosaurussen gemaakt en gekloond. Het eiland is nu vernietigd door een grote storm.

Malcom komt tot de zorgwekkende conclusie dat niet alleen iets op het eiland het heeft overleefd, maar dat de dieren ook in het wild leven en zich voortplanten.
