David Bowie: Inside Out - A Retrospective
€29,49
Disc 1:
David Bowie up Close and Personal
This is the true story of the many faceted diamond, David Bowie. Follow him through his many incarnations as we talk to the people who knew him best. Candid interviews with Angie Bowie reveals her part in her ex-husbands rise to fame, and the terrible pressure it placed them both under.
Trevor Bolder and Woody Woodmansey from Bowie's Spiders from Mars band give frank insight into the music and the madness behind the scenes, and session musicians Herbie Flowers and Tim Renwick remember the Space Oddity recording sessions. The story is completed with contributions from Jeff Griffin, BBC Session's producer of the early Bowie sessions at the Paris Cinema Studio, and Kris Needs, journalist and Bowie uber-fan from the early days.
With the able assistance of these intimates, we analyse the music and the man behind it, with sensational performance footage including the last appearance of Ziggy Stardust at the 1980 Floor Show.
Disc 2:
Rock Milestones David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust
1972 was the year when Bowie finally broke into mainstream, and the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was the album that did it. This is the definitive independent review of an all time classic album featuring rare interviews with Bowie and the people around him including a rare archive interview with Mick Ronson, along with classic performances of material from the album.
Disc 3:
