€19,99
“THE BRITISH ROCK INVASION” puts together 3 DVD’s crammed full with cult Rock from the UK and featuring
SPENCER DAVIS GROUP, THE TROGGS & M.F.’s T-REX:
The SPENCER DAVIS GROUP have been enjoying a steady success since the mid-sixties with some of their
songs appearing in Hollywood films such as “Days of Thunder” or “Notting Hill”. They came to success with
songs such as „KEEP ON RUNNING“ or “GIMME SOME LOVIN’” which have become veritable classics in the
meantime.
THE TROGGS have been enjoying a solid reputation on the Pop & Rock scene since the sixties. Though only REG
PRESLEY and CHRIS BRITTON remain from the 1960’s group line-ups, their love ballads still delight both their
young and older fans. This concert took place in 2002 at the Preston Guild Hall.
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of MARC BOLAN’s death, MICKEY FINN & PAUL FENTON were invited
to a concert venue, the “Cambridge Corn Exchange” in Autumn 1997. Following their tremendous success,
the idea of a revival of the group made its way: MICKEY FINN’s T-REX formed with four new members including
SMOKIE’s guitarist ALON SILSON. The 2001 concert in Kent showcases the hits of these legendary glamour
rockers.
