WWII tot leven gebracht.
History Channel, kennen de meeste van Ice Road Truckers of Pawn Stars. Sterke series van het dagelijks leven. Maar zoals ze een tijdje als slogan hadden:'History gebeurd elke dag" In de serie WWII 360, gaat het over het leven aan boord van de Big E, Enterprise gedurende de aanvallen van de Japanners. En in Patton 360 gaat het over het slagveld van George Patton in Europa. Het mooie van de serie zijn de verslagen van de mannen die het allemaal meemaakte en de daarbij behorende beelden, gemaakt met de computer. En natuurlijk af en toe live beeld materiaal er tussen door. Het zijn dus echt serie voor WWII liefhebbers. Het is erg mooi in beeld gebracht, van A tot Z. Mooie computer animaties ondersteunen de hele serie. En nu juist daarin zit het knelpunt, de animaties worden soms herhaald, waardoor het lijkt of je tussendoor reclame hebt gehad. Wat niet zo is hoor. Maar het viel me op dat de animaties zeker in het begin veel worden herhaald. Niet dat het storend is, maar je denkt toch:'huh,ze waren toch al daar?' Een ander ding wat me opviel is dat de stem die commentaar geeft totaal anders is dan die van TV. Deze stem is ook prima, maar die andere is rustiger qua toon. Voor de rest, subliem en een MUST HAVE voor de WWII liefhebber, zeker voor deze prijs.
