However, the basement is coveted by both Nick's father Sam, and Angie's mother Daphne, and so the only acceptable solution is for them to share. The trouble is, they're not ideal housemates - poles apart would be a more apt description; she's a very proper and country born Cheltenham lady, and he's a somewhat coarse cockney. But, proximity does seem to make the heart grow fonder, and it's not long before Sam starts to look at Daphne in that special way. But for how long can this situation remain a one-way street?
