Wat een game!
Revelations was voor mij echt onspeelbaar, wat was dat een verschrikkelijke game, terwijl voornamelijk AC2 en ook AC: Brotherhood sterke games waren! Deel 3 viel me ook tegen, daar mankeerde ook veel aan. Ik heb dan ook lang getwijfeld over Black Flag maar ik ben enorm blij dat ik 'm gekocht hebt! De setting is gewoon enorm tof uitgevoerd en het varen en de zeeslagen incl. enteren van schepen is heel tof gedaan. Het wil ook nog wel 's voorkomen dat het gaat stormen als je een in een gevecht op zee verzeild raakt. De strongholds in de zee die de diverse gebieden beheersen zijn ook leuke uitdagingen. Eerst het fort vernietigen en daarna betreden om het beslissende gevecht te voeren! Je zit overigens niet continu op zee. Er zijn veel eilanden en diverse grotere steden, maar niet zoals in de eerdere delen, waar veel te doen is. Gelukkig zijn er ook niet zoveel meer van die ren en achtervolg-missies die door de soms wat beroerde fysieks in de eerdere delen veel frustratie opleverden. De Gamepad wordt ook handig benut in Black Flag. Je krijgt een grote kaart te zien die meer toont dan de minimap op beeld. Vind 'm persoonlijk erg handig.
